Northern Management Services, Inc. (NMSI) provides full Facilities Management Services for the Federal Government throughout the United States. NMSI provides all management, supervision, engineering, labor, supplies, materials, tools, and equipment to effectively and economically manage, operate, and maintain Federal Facilities.

NMSI provides budgeting analysis, quality assurance assessments, tenant and facility improvement projects, engineering and design, operation and mechanical maintenance services, architectural and structural maintenance, complete custodial and grounds maintenance services, sub-contracted activities, and customer satisfaction compliance surveys. NMSI recognizes that services covered by Complete Facilities Management Service contracts are vital to the Governments Mission Statement and continuity of services must be maintained at the utmost proficiency without interruption at all times. NMSI manages, operates, and maintains contract related activities with precision, timeliness, accuracy, and over-site to ensure customer satisfaction.

Our management process starts with developing a project plan that is performance driven and results oriented. Management personnel are highly qualified in their respective career fields and have the necessary experience, training, and certifications to ensure compliance with all aspects of the projects. Complete Facilities Maintenance

NMSI provides all management, supervision, engineering, labor, supplies, materials, tools, and equipment to effectively and economically manage, operate, and maintain Federal Facilities as they pertain to architectural, structural, mechanical, custodial and grounds maintenance services. All mechanical, electrical, plumbing and utility systems are operated compatible with the current energy and water conservation and environmental requirements. NMSI manages, operates, and maintains contract related activities with precision, timeliness, accuracy, and over-site to ensure customer satisfaction. Our management process starts with developing a project plan that is performance driven and results oriented. Management and Technical personnel are highly qualified in their respective career fields and have the necessary experience, training, and certifications to ensure compliance with all aspects of the projects.

NMSI establishes written procedures for Operational Tours and Mechanical Inspections to ensure building systems are being operated in an energy-efficient manner. Our preventative maintenance (PM) program uses manufacturer recommendations and/or acceptable industry standards. NMSI is responsible for inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of equipment and systems which impact personnel or physical safety, including electrical switchgear, life safety systems, HVAC systems, backflow preventers, emergency generators, and pressure vessels.

NMSI provides official certified reports detailing the items inspected, results of tests, preventative maintenance adjustments performed and a brief description of any defects found. The QCP is a system that identifies and corrects deficiencies in the quality of services before the level of performance becomes unacceptable. This QCP is of paramount importance. NMSI's inspection system is tailored to the specific facilities. A checklist is used during regularly scheduled and unscheduled inspections.

Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Service

Aircraft Transient Maintenance Services

NMSI provides Aircraft Transient Alert Maintenance Services for the United States Air Force. We support any and all aircraft not assigned to the U.S. Air Force base. We taxi aircraft to and from the runways under specified time frames, securing and parking aircraft, perform inspections and maintenance, schedule and support refueling activities, provide all necessary support equipment and provide processing services for aircraft. We perform inflight emergency (IFE) services for removal and recovery of any aircraft that crashes, stops, shuts down or is disabled on the runways. We perform de-icing services for the U.S. Air Force aircraft not assigment to the facility. Support the commander with any additional service requirements as requested, including red carpet special visitors. We staff a dispatch office with direct communication to the flight tower.

Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Contract

NMSI has a contract with the Federal Supply Schedule (GSA) to participate in the solicitation process for Complete Facilities Management; Complete Facilities Maintenance; Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning; and Supplies.
